What is CBDC Restigouche?
For over 30 years, the Restigouche CBDC has contributed to the economic and community development in the beautiful Restigouche area. Having its region at heart, the Restigouche CBDC contributes directly to the local economy by providing financial support to more than 300 businesses. Our CBDC is also known across Canada for its numerous regional, provincial, and national initiatives. Each year, our proactive, qualified, and dynamic staff offer a range of professionally designed programs and projects that consistently exceed our partners’ expectations.
Our mission is to support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by offering loan programs and SME consultation services. We also deliver a range of innovative projects in response to identified community and employer’s needs, community economic development, and labour force development.
Our staff team members have diverse expertise in fields including project management, financial management, partnership building, inclusion and accessibility, entrepreneurship, training development, training delivery, communications, marketing, IT programming, web development, employment readiness programming, HR management, research, career counselling and much more.
We are a member of the National Community Futures Network of Canada (CFNC) which includes 267 independent offices, as well as being a member of the Atlantic Association of Community Business Development Corporations (AACBDC) that comprises 41 independent CBDCs, and a member of the NB Association of CBDCs, which comprises the 10 independent CBDCs in New Brunswick.

Banks and other traditional lending institutions can often be unavailable to you. At the Community Business Development Corporation (CBDC) we might be able to help! The most flexible commercial business loan we offer, the CBDC General Business Loan was made just for these situations.
How can we help?
Loans up to $150,000* may be available to eligible applicants. All loans are repayable and offer competitive repayment terms and interest rates. Financing can include a demand or term loan, a loan guarantee, or equity investment.
Loans will be secured, and can be from one to ten years, giving you the chance to develop your business while being free from financial burden.

We have successfully established diverse partnerships with groups and networks in all 10 provinces and 3 territories within our other projects. This includes previously secured partnerships with national, regional, provincial, and local organizations, as well as with over 100 of the other CBDC offices across the country.

Helping employers create more inclusive workplaces.
This Canada-wide awareness campaign aims to increase employer awareness about how people with disabilities are a talented part of the workforce, and provides resources to help employers tap into this talent pool during their search for skilled workers.
